SECOND HOME. SECOND WARDROBE NEEDED

PRIVATE CLIENT | SPAIN

THE BRIEF

A second home on the Costa del Sol. A busy international business woman. And a wardrobe that needed to work as beautifully as the home itself.

Having already been entrusted with helping to furnish and style a client's second home in Spain, the project evolved into something a little more personal: curating a wardrobe that would be ready and waiting whenever she arrived.

The brief was to create a collection that suited the Costa del Sol lifestyle — relaxed, beachy and effortlessly sophisticated — while reflecting her individual taste, body shape and the way she liked to spend her time.

And with a demanding international business to run, she had very little time to do it herself.

A PERSONAL PASSION

Fashion and design have always been personal passions of mine. I love clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery and accessories, particularly statement pieces, interesting details and things that spark a conversation. Equally, I love a great casual look. My own wardrobe is rather extensive (the shoe collection deserves a mention of its own!), and I've always enjoyed putting things together in unexpected ways.

But personal style is exactly that — personal.

My client's taste was quite different from mine. She preferred clean lines, understated sophistication and effortless elegance. The challenge wasn't to dress her like me. It was to understand what made her feel comfortable, confident and herself, and build a wardrobe around that.

Good curation isn't about imposing your own taste. It's about understanding someone else's.

THE APPROACH

This was about much more than choosing clothes.

We had plenty of conversations about what she loved, what she wouldn't wear, her preferred styles, fits, colours, brands and shoes. I wanted to understand not just what looked good on her, but how she wanted to feel wearing it.

Sometimes that meant asking, "How would you feel wearing this?" Other times, it meant offering a little encouragement to try something different, talking through what might work and why, or recognising when something simply wasn't her.

We explored fabrics, textures and materials, considering comfort, practicality and the Costa del Sol climate. And this wasn't simply a summer wardrobe. It needed to work across seasons and occasions, from relaxed beach days and sophisticated evenings out to cooler winter months, golf and snowboarding trips.

Understanding her personality, body shape, lifestyle and surroundings helped me ask the right questions and make thoughtful recommendations, rather than simply presenting a collection of things I liked.

I created mood boards, researched products and pulled together a detailed, easy-to-navigate document with direct purchasing links, making it simple for her to review the options and give feedback. Some pieces were an immediate yes. Others weren't quite right. We refined the selection together until it felt like her.

Then came the practical stuff. With the selections agreed, I coordinated purchases and deliveries. As I was already on-site overseeing the interiors, I could receive everything, organise the pieces and put them away — hanging, folding and arranging the wardrobe so it was completely ready for her arrival.

THE OUTCOME

From an idea to a fully curated, organised wardrobe in just a few days. When my clients arrived, the house was ready, the wardrobe was stocked and everything was in its place. The reaction was wonderful. They absolutely loved it.

There was something rather Carrie Bradshaw about the reveal; that moment of opening the wardrobe doors and discovering a collection of beautiful things, chosen just for you.

But the real luxury wasn't simply the clothes. It was having someone else take care of all the thinking, searching, decisions, ordering and organising. One less thing on the to-do list. And something lovely to come home to. And the best part? I got a big thank you KISS!

THE KISS & CO. CONNECTION

Figure it out · Make it happen · Alongside you

This project brought all three ways of working together.

Understanding someone's personality and lifestyle. Asking the right questions. Offering encouragement and a trusted second opinion. Turning a loosely defined idea into something tangible. Doing the research, sourcing, coordinating and hands-on organising.

It also shows how one project can naturally lead to another. From interiors to wardrobe curation, the common thread was trust, attention to detail and knowing what mattered to the client.

Sometimes the best brief is simply: "You know what I like. Can you sort it?"

Life comes with stuff.

You don’t have to do all of it yourself.

KISS isn’t just about getting Stuff done. It’s about making more possible.

Bring clarity — work out what matters and what needs attention.
Remove the stuff — simplify, prioritise and remove what isn't helping.
Enable the stuff — put the right support, systems and actions in place to move things forward.
