Interior Styling, Sourcing & Property Set-Up

PRIVATE CLIENTS | BALI · PORTUGAL · SPAIN

THE BRIEF

Helping private clients turn properties into beautiful, functional spaces — whether preparing a home to live in, getting a property ready to rent, or simply making an existing space work better.

Projects have taken me from Lagos in Portugal to Marbella in Spain and Canggu in Bali, working both remotely and on-site, depending on what was needed.

Sometimes there was a clear vision. Other times, it started with a conversation about what wasn't quite working, what someone liked, or what they wanted to achieve without spending a fortune.

MY INVOLVEMENT

Interior design has long been a personal passion, backed by practical experience gained through a corporate HQ refurbishment, personally designing offices for a CEO, Chairman and surrounding C-suite, and more than a decade working alongside architects and interior designers in some of London's most iconic buildings.

For these private projects, my role was a mixture of creative sounding board, researcher, sourcing partner and practical organiser.

I helped with layouts, spatial planning, colour schemes, furniture and accessories, art curation and sourcing, and creating mood boards to bring ideas together.

Sometimes clients had a clear vision and needed help bringing it to life. Other times, I helped shape the creative direction — getting to know their tastes, personalities and how they wanted to use the space.

And occasionally, I was trusted to make creative decisions independently, introducing pieces, artwork or finishing touches as a surprise. The pleasure was in knowing someone well enough to choose something they wouldn't necessarily have thought of themselves, but absolutely loved.

I researched products, compared prices, explored affordable alternatives and tracked down specific items — providing direct links so clients could review options and make purchasing decisions themselves.

Sometimes the solution wasn't to buy something new. It was to rethink what was already there, repurpose an item, or get creative and make something ourselves.

Beyond the creative decisions, I helped coordinate the practicalities — sourcing suppliers, organising orders and deliveries, and getting properties ready for people to move in or welcome rental guests.

Some projects involved being there in person, seeing how a space worked and making decisions on the ground. Others were managed remotely, with regular conversations, shared ideas, photographs and plenty of coordination.

THE KISS APPROACH

Figure it out. Understanding the space, the people using it, their tastes, priorities and budget. Exploring ideas, finding inspiration and working out what would make the biggest difference.

Make it happen. Researching, sourcing, comparing, coordinating and following through on the details — from a mood board to a product link to a delivery.

Alongside you. Being a creative sounding board, offering ideas, challenging choices and helping clients make decisions. Knowing when to collaborate, when to take the legwork off their hands and when to use my own judgement — always with an understanding of their personality, preferences and budget.

THE OUTCOME

Homes that felt considered, welcoming and ready for their next chapter — whether for personal use or rental.

For the clients, it meant having someone who could see the bigger picture, offer creative ideas, find practical solutions and take care of the legwork.

A good eye for detail is useful. Knowing how to turn an idea into reality is where I add value.

Life comes with stuff.

You don’t have to do all of it yourself.

KISS isn’t just about getting Stuff done. It’s about making more possible.

Bring clarity — work out what matters and what needs attention.
Remove the stuff — simplify, prioritise and remove what isn't helping.
Enable the stuff — put the right support, systems and actions in place to move things forward.
